An Afternoon in Belgravia
Discover our top spots to visit for the perfect afternoon out in Belgravia.
Belgravia is without doubt one of my favourite neighbourhoods in London for many reasons, not least of which being that it is home to our London flagship store on West Halkin Street, in the heart of Belgravia.
The area is home to fabulous luxury hotels like The Berkeley, international stores and restaurants, and a vibrant and energising atmosphere.
We recently spent an afternoon out in Belgravia with our new London Retail Development Manager, Philippa.
Having recently joined the team working from our West Halkin Street flagship, Philippa has been exploring the neighbourhood, discovering all that Belgravia has to offer.
The best start to any day in Belgravia is breakfast at The Collins Room and a chance to spend time with a very special man, Antonio Sitzia, who goes above and beyond to ensure all his guests are super happy. One of the true gems in hospitality and a joy to watch him embrace his guests, who hold him in high esteem.
Afterwards, a morning blow-dry at Hershesons, across the street from our store. The design and interiors of the salon create a fabulous atmosphere for a little pampering.
I always make a point to pay a visit to Neill Strain Floral Couture, right up the road. It is always a joy to visit Neill’s Belgravia Boutique, filled with always exquisite floral arrangements, bouquets and fresh flowers, and beautiful floral aromas.
A stop at Farm Girl Café can’t be missed – the perfect locale to socialize and grab a healthy bit to eat for lunch or quick coffee for an afternoon pick me up.
Finally relaxing poolside at The Berkeley’s rooftop terrace. The Berkley is, without doubt, one of the most fabulous hotels in London, and of course has the added bonus of being part of the glamorous Maybourne Group. At the corner of Knightsbridge and Belgravia, the terrace offers expansive views of central London and Hyde Park – a secluded retreat in the heart of the city.
